The Hotel Nelligan is the perfect elegant location for a wedding, in the heart of old Montreal, so many locations for photos as well.

Red and Bold

by Julie Gagnon on April 3, 2012

The bride and groom kept with the red theme throughout the day…From the grooms uniform to the flowers and cake. It was subtle and done extremely tastefully.

Black & White Portraits

by Julie Gagnon on March 29, 2012

I love photographing in black and white. It really captures peoples personalities and lets us focus on the subjects.  It’s almost calming to look at. Enjoy!

Attention to detail

by Julie Gagnon on March 14, 2012

This is one of my favourite weddings. From the details to the affectionate couple. I had such a great time photographing this couple, they made it so easy. Enjoy the moments.

The details in this wedding were absolutely beautiful. The colours really complimented each other.

Autumn photo shoot

by Julie Gagnon on October 5, 2010

I think fall is the best time of the year to photograph. The colours are spectacular. Kate & Phil wanted a very casual photo shoot with no posed shots. The results turned out great.

September wedding

by Julie Gagnon on October 5, 2010

It’s always nice to be able to photograph someone’s wedding that you know personally. It really allows you to be a close part of the wedding. Kathy & Bryan’s wedding was held at the Greek Orthodox church in St.Laurent called St. Michael’s. We photographed afterwards at a park in Bois Franc. I love that location for the foliage & the picturesque bridge. Then we headed off to Chateau Royal where the reception was held. www.lechateauroyal.com

Family session

by Julie Gagnon on September 14, 2010

I shot Lora & Roy’s wedding in 2006. They are a great couple with lots of personality. Four years later we are shooting their yearly family photo session. This time we  chose to shoot in a park in the West Island so the kids could play & have fun & I could really capture their personalities.

country wedding

by Julie Gagnon on September 9, 2010

This wedding was a country wedding at it’s best. From the details of the purple accents to the outdoor ceremony. They kept with a simple theme. The bride handmade the lace bags filled with lavender for her bonbonnieres & her sister’s also gave a hand in making the flowers hanging off the chairs in the aisle. They chose the Maison Trestler for their venue. The stone of the building & the foliage made for a great variety in the photos. Enjoy…

Band photos

by Julie Gagnon on September 9, 2010

I was delighted to be able to photograph the band called Night Shift. I had so much fun stepping out of my box &  working with them. I feel like I really captured the look they were going for & still showed off their personalities. They specialize in weddings & corporate events. You can always check out their website at www.nightshiftorchestra.com

Simple civil wedding

by Julie Gagnon on July 23, 2010

I love photographing all sorts of weddings. Whether it be a big extravagant wedding or a small simple country wedding. This wedding was all about close friends & family. A judge performed the ceremony in an intimate setting in the west island. The big windows all around us allowed the light to stream through & create a warm mood. They celebrated with champagne & then we headed off to Stewart hall for some couple photos.
